FREE Audiobook for August: Basic Christianity by John Stott

FREE Audiobook for August: Basic Christianity by John Stott

19 August, 2013

At church this past Sunday, our pastor gave a sermon on the importance of reading quality, substantial Christian literature alongside the Bible. Our world is so full of “trivializing” influences that we seldom think as deeply about God as many Christians before us have. This is to our detriment. It just so happens that this month’s free audiobook from Christianaudio.com is one of the top ones our pastor recommended as a good introduction to the essentials of the Christian faith and what impact those beliefs should have on our lives. So, for those of you who spend long amounts of time in the car commuting to work, or prefer to listen to a book occasionally, here is a good, FREE resource for you. Although, in line with what our pastor suggested, do not only listen to books to the neglect of actually reading. Reading itself is crucial.

Until the end of this month, you can get a FREE audio copy (.mp3, .m4b) of this book from Christianaudio.com. Every month they give away a free audiobook and this is the one for the month of August. Over the past couple of years, I have been able to get books by John Piper, Jerry Bridges, Mark Driscoll, R.C. Sproul, Matt Chandler, and many others, all for free in audio format. I intended to post about Stott’s book sooner, but life and ministry took priority. However, you do have almost two weeks left to get this great deal!

Please note: You will have to create an account with Christianaudio.com, but doing so is well worth it since the site gives away a free audio book every month, and they do not require billing information for free products.
